The Southern Community Land Trust is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking milestone in our mission to provide affordable housing in Broome County! We are proud to kick off our first gut rehab project, marking the area’s first permanently affordable housing initiative. This transformative project has garnered enthusiastic support from NYS Senator Leah Webb, who emphasized the critical need for affordable housing options for marginalized and low-income residents. “Investing in affordable housing is essential to fostering a thriving community,” Senator Webb stated.
