“WHAT IS THIS?”

​

A small grassroots coalition of housing advocates secured a grant to support the
creation of the Broome Community Land Trust (BCLT), a group with a
focus on affordable housing and racial justice.

We want to keep expanding our local network of residents who care about housing
justice for all, and mobilize them around bold solutions here in the Binghamton area,
including community-owned housing (no more slumlords!)

Participants are paid a stipend to learn about community land trusts (CLTs) asnd then help us tell Broome County all about them.
